ETA Summer Camp

The Education Through Athletics Summer Camp is a sleep away camp that will house up to 300 at-risk youth for 7 weeks. This camp will ensure that these youth are not in the streets and are active in sports as well as educational activities. We will be competing in sports competitions both on and off site. By reaching out to the youth we are also changing lives and creating opportunities. All you have to do is look outside of the window, open your eyes to the world, and decide to make a difference. This program has a purpose, and that is to work TODAY for a better TOMORROW. We believe in a diverse community, and that each youth develops more each day. The programs mission will be achieved by offering the following incentives:

5) ensure that at-risk/disadvantage student-athletes are well prepared before taking the SAT/ACT, are registered to the NCAA Clearing House, and no the required core classes that are needed

6) bridge the gap between minorities youth and a college degree

7) train and condition student-athletes to improve on the abilities in their sport(s)
